I’m constantly inspired by how nature, through its design, always seems to create and maintain a balance.
My illustrations & animations aim to shine further light on plastic pollution in the planet’s oceans. I used geometric forms to strip the natural elements down to their basic shapes and colours. I then depicted the plastic objects as close to reality as was necessary, using curvilinear forms to make them stand out. The plastic objects are meant to stand out in the illustration as if to say “they don’t belong there”, the same way plastic does not belong in the ocean.
